My Conferences

One of the distinctive aspects of my work as a historical fiction author is the ability to take my books beyond the written page. Inspired by true stories, each of my historical novels—available as both paperback books and Kindle eBooks on Amazon—serves as the foundation for immersive audiovisual lectures that connect literary storytelling with rich historical context.

Using an interactive timeline, I guide audiences through a visual journey that brings history to life. With original documents, restored nautical charts, and hundreds of historical images enhanced through AI-powered photo restoration (corrective, not generative), these lectures offer a dynamic blend of visual storytelling and narrative depth.

During each session, I reveal a trove of compelling archival material—rare visual discoveries unearthed during the in-depth research behind my books. These high-resolution historical visuals, carefully restored with cutting-edge AI tools, bridge the gap between past and present with breathtaking clarity and emotional impact.

These lectures are tailored to a wide range of audiences, including educational institutions, museums, cultural centers, yacht clubs, and corporations seeking original, engaging, and historically accurate content. Each event is a one-of-a-kind experience that complements my literary work and enhances the connection between readers, history, and the sea.

Conference: The Journey of Cecilie Herzogin

One of my most requested presentations brings to life the extraordinary story of the Herzogin Cecilie, the iconic German training ship that sailed the world’s oceans during the early 20th century.

Based on the central (no spoilers!) narrative of my historical novel Heimkehr (back home), this lecture offers a deep visual and historical immersion through more than 400 restored images, previously unpublished documents, original nautical charts, and authentic ship records—all connecting the vessel’s legendary voyage with the sweeping events of World War I.

Together, we navigate not only the ship’s odyssey, but the geopolitical tensions, human stories, and technological challenges that defined her time. The Herzogin Cecilie, one of the last great four-masted barques, emerges as the protagonist of a tale filled with epic grandeur and emotional depth.

Perfect for audiences passionate about naval history, sailing, historical fiction, or technology applied to heritage preservation, this is far more than a lecture—it’s a narrative and visual experience that rekindles the lost splendor of a forgotten era.
