From November 29 to December 7 of this year, I will be at the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL), one of the most important literary events in the Spanish-speaking world. Every year, this fair attracts more than 800,000 visitors, 2,000 publishers from over 40 countries, and thousands of writers, industry professionals, and passionate readers.
As an independent author from Chile, I have a valuable opportunity to publicize my most recent historical novel, Heimkehr, which is already available in digital format on Rakuten Kobo, Kindle, Apple Books, and other platforms. I also have an important meeting scheduled with Rakuten Kobo executives at FIL Guadalajara 2025. They have expressed interest in promoting books like mine that are developed with artificial intelligence and designed for global readers.

Beyond the literary aspect, this presence aims to establish Chiloé and northern Chilean Patagonia as creative regions capable of exporting culturally significant content with historical, technological, and narrative value.
I am seeking institutional support to finance this trip, which will not only boost my career as a writer but also increase visibility for Chilean literature, especially in innovative formats such as immersive e-books.
I am grateful for the support of those who believe in the transformative power of well-told stories.
From Chiloé, we continue writing for the world.
